COVID 19 & Schools

Covid 19 lockdown policies have had a significant impact on students sense of well being as well as their academic progress. Many communities in the USA still do not have fully open schools, despite significant evidence from the research community that schools (and young children) are not the primary drivers of viral spread. In May 2020, an international panel was held to discuss the issues related to school re-opening. You can find a synopsis of the discussion here: Covid19: An opportunity to re-examine educational environment.
